Skincare made for melanin-rich skin, by a doctor who treats it every day
Healthy Skin and Hair was founded by Dr Kathryn Limo, a medical doctor who leads our skin clinic at the Accra London Health Centre in Labone, Accra. Since 2018, we have helped people across Ghana care for their skin with doctor-formulated products and in-clinic treatments.
Why we started
In clinic, Dr Kathryn saw the same story again and again: pimples that left dark marks for months, and people who had turned to strong lightening and bleaching creams that left their skin irritated and patchy. Many simply could not find gentle, honest skincare made for melanin-rich skin.
So she formulated her own. Every Healthy product is designed to help with common concerns such as pimples, dark spots, rough texture and dullness, without bleaching your skin.
What we stand for
- Fade the marks, not your melanin. We do not make bleaching creams.
- Full transparency. Every product lists its full ingredients, on the label and on our website.
- Doctor-formulated. Each product is created by a medical doctor who treats skin like yours every day.
- Honest advice. Results vary from person to person, and we will always tell you when a consultation is a better option than a product.

At our Accra clinic, we offer facials, chemical peels, microneedling and other treatments, with a plan tailored to your skin.
