Smoother-looking skin starts with renewal

Retinol is one of the best-studied skincare ingredients. It supports your skin's natural renewal, helping with uneven texture, dullness, blemish-prone skin and the look of fine lines.

How to use it, and full ingredients

Active ingredient: All-trans retinol (encapsulated vitamin A)

  • Supports skin renewal for smoother-looking skin
  • Helps improve the appearance of fine lines
  • Helps improve uneven texture and dullness, including visible sun-related changes
  • Supports blemish-prone skin with pimples, whiteheads, blackheads and razor bumps
  • Contains vitamin E (tocopherol) for antioxidant support

Results vary from person to person. Use sunscreen every morning, as retinol makes skin more sensitive to the sun. Not for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding; speak to a doctor if you use prescription skin treatments.

How to use

Apply in the evening on clean, dry skin after pH Restorer.

On the face

  • Use a pea-sized amount for the whole face. Using more will not work faster and may irritate.
  • Dot it on the forehead, both cheeks and chin, then spread in a thin, even layer.
  • Avoid the corners of the nose and mouth, and the lips.

Around the eyes

  • Use a tiny amount, about the size of a grain of rice, for both eyes.
  • Find the bony rim around the eye: under the eyebrow and along the top of the cheekbone.
  • Dab small dots along this rim with your ring finger, which applies the least pressure, then tap gently to press it in.
  • Keep it off the eyelids and away from the lash line.

Start slowly

  • Weeks 1 and 2: twice a week.
  • Weeks 3 and 4: every other night.
  • After that: nightly, only if your skin is comfortable.
  • Some dryness or light flaking in the first weeks is common. If it happens, go back to fewer nights a week.
  • If dryness continues, or redness or stinging lasts, stop and book a consultation.
  • Do not use on broken, sunburned or freshly waxed skin.

Ingredients

aqua, glycerin, capric caprylic triglyceride, polysorbate 20, polyurethane crosspolymer-1, retinol, polyvinyl alcohol, tocopherol, xanthan gum, preservative, fragrance.

Questions before you order

Can I use it if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

Is some dryness normal?

Mild dryness or flaking in the first weeks is common. Go back to fewer nights a week; if redness or stinging lasts, stop and book a consultation.

Do I need sunscreen?

Yes. Retinol makes skin more sensitive to the sun. Use sun protection every morning.

Will this bleach or lighten my skin?

No. We do not make bleaching products. It is designed to work with your natural skin tone, not change it, and every ingredient is listed on the label and on this page.
